Pip Plays in the Rain

Pip looks through the window at the rain.

Rain taps the window.

Drip, drop. Drip, drop.

Pip pulls on a rain boot.

Pip pulls on one boot.

Then the other. Tug, tug!

Pip puts on a hooded raincoat.

Coat on. Hood up.

Zip goes the zipper.

Outside, Pip catches raindrops on one paw.

A drop lands on Pip’s paw.

Cold and tickly!

Pip makes a small splash in a puddle.

One careful step.

Splish!

Pip makes a big joyful splash.

One giant jump.

SPLASH!

Pip watches a snail cross a wet leaf.

A snail slides by.

“Hello, slow snail.”

Pip sits indoors with a towel and warm drink.

Dry towel. Warm drink.
