Pip and the Little Violin

Pip finds a little violin in its case.

Pip opens a little case.

Inside is a violin. “Hello!”

Pip holds up the little violin and waves.

Pip lifts it carefully.

“Shall we play?”

Pip moves the bow across the violin strings.

Pip pulls the bow.

Scratch! “Oops. Again!”

Pip smiles as music notes float from the violin.

This time, a bright song.

Ting, ting, ting!

A little mouse taps its feet while Pip plays.

Mouse hears the music.

Tiny feet go tap, tap.

A rabbit hops beside Pip while Pip plays.

Rabbit bounces in.

Hop low. Hop high!

Pip plays while Mouse and Rabbit dance.

Pip plays faster.

Friends spin, stomp, and giggle.

Under the moon, Pip puts the violin back in its case.

Pip tucks the violin in.

“Good night. We’ll play tomorrow.”
